Nurses Week:
Hats Off to Our Heroes

If ever there was a time to celebrate nurses on the frontline, this Nurses Week is it.

Our nurses stand ready to navigate through these extraordinary times to ensure that Rady Children’s is equipped for every child—from critical babies in our NICU, teens undergoing chemotherapy and children in need of life-saving surgeries, behavioral health services or treatments for seasonal flu or the novel coronavirus.

No matter the reason, Rady Children’s doors never close. That’s why today, more than ever, we are asking our dedicated community to show support for Rady Children’s with a gift in honor of our nurses. Your support bolsters our nurses’ efforts for effective and efficient response to the novel coronavirus and also may support clinical isolation equipment and spaces, testing and treatment costs, and innovative approaches to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Nurses Week is a special time each year—and in these unprecedented times, we ask you to join with us to express your gratitude for the critical work of your favorite nurse by making a gift in their honor.

We Are Surrounded By Heroes

Down every hallway, in each lab, patient room, clinic and treatment space, there are heroes. In our cafeteria, answering our phones, managing our supply chain, technology and security, there are heroes.

Team Rady is full of heroes who are committed to caring for San Diego’s children, and to taking care of San Diego how we know best. By being innovative. Compassionate. By always putting kids first. And by supporting each of our heroes.
