We have created this team in the memory of Aegis Long. Aegis was a happy soul, always energetic and curious, often times silly and hilarious, yet witty and candidly honest. He left this world in September 2023 at age of nine from brain cancer, and we miss him every moment.

Through Aegis' journey fighting cancer at Rady Children's Hospital, the team of doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and child life specialists compassionately provided holistic care to lighten the hospital visits and stays for patients and parents.
