Healing from illness and injuries often requires hearing the word “no.” For the young patients at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, this can become even tougher during the holiday season.

I’m joining the San Diego community this holiday season to Tell Them Yes.

Yes, you can do hard things.
Yes, there are still things to celebrate.
Yes, you do deserve to just be a kid again.

Light the Way is Rady Children’s annual event to bring joy to patients and provide critical funding to the Hospital. Every dollar raised is another “yes” to ensuring patients and families are kept safe during routine in-person visits, have access to critical care in and out of the Hospital, and benefit from leading-edge research that resolves some of the most perplexing cases in pediatric medicine.

My family has experienced first hand the impact our community has on improving the quality of care and life when our most vulnerable experience childhood illness. So, please donate whatever you can to this worthwhile cause!
