Did you know that nearly 190,000 children in San Diego will develop some type of behavioral health disorder? The pandemic has shined an even larger spotlight on the mental health crisis that our nation’s children face. Join us by raising funds that ensure that every child facing a mental or behavioral health challenge can live to his or her fullest potential. The effects of sheltering in place on children are life-altering. When children are not in school, concerned adults do not have the opportunity to observe and intervene when help is needed.
The Scripps Ranch Unit’s annual fundraiser, “Cheers for Children’s” is using the Rady Children’s Miracle Maker page to raise funds that will benefit the Medical Behavioral Unit (MBU) – Eating Disorders Treatment Program at Rady Children’s Hospital; the only child and adolescent medical/behavioral inpatient unit in San Diego. Due to the pandemic, we are unable to host a live event this year. Please consider making a donation to help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal. Net proceeds will be matched as part of the Hospital’s Philanthropy Match Program!
The Eating Disorders Treatment Program clinical team treats anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders in an innovative way that addresses medical, psychological, psycho-educational and counseling needs for the entire family.
Please donate to our fundraising page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Your support will make a difference in the lives of children receiving care at Rady’s.
