The Poway Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary is shaking it up this year! The annual Tabletops event will be held on May 13th with our net proceeds benefiting the Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes at Rady Children's Hospital - San Diego. This department cares for over 1,400 children and adolescents across the region. It is nationally recognized as one of the best pediatric diabetes and endocrinology programs in the nation! They are a leader in pediatric diabetes research, dedicated to discovering new therapies and ultimately a cure.

Along with type 1 diabetes, Rady Children’s treats a growing number of children and adolescents who develop type 2 diabetes, and less common types like maturity-onset diabetes. The program works with both the children and their families to manage the disease, including continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, nutrition counseling and diabetes education.

Your support allows the program, through cutting-edge science and clinical research programs, to discover better treatments for endocrine disorders and diabetes.
