September Is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re asking you to show your support of the patients and families who have fought or are still fighting cancer at the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Last year alone, 286 of our patients were diagnosed with some form of pediatric cancer.

Every dollar raised will benefit programs and services at the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. As part of a not-for-profit organization, we rely on community support to help improve survival rates, quality of life and emotional well-being for the young patients we care for every year.

Your Why

Our why is showing the Peckham Center’s patients and families they’re not facing cancer and bleeding disorders alone. What’s yours? Be sure to share it with your friends and family to make it clear why you are fundraising for Rady Children’s. People donate to people, so communicating what the Hospital means to you gives your network a strong motivation to make a donation or join your team.
